Managed DNS outside the UK... and UK rankings

 5:38 pm on Aug 29, 2008 (gmt 0)

at the moment we use the DNS that is provided by our webhosts with our own server, but for about a year we have had just to many problems with DNS errors that we are thinking of going to a managed DNS system provided by a 3rd party, my question is that if our website is hosted in the UK but the DNS server is outside of the UK will it hurt our rankings in the .co.uk results

dns outside UK is no problems.

I've got my DNS with a managed DNS server in the US and there's no diff in rankings on google.com.au.
