Yes it is possible and I don't think it's seen as dupe content BUT your reward hinges on how you translate the content, if you use scripts that query, for example, google translate you will find the content may be poorly translated, it will however still bring traffic.

Make sure you section off the different language content into different folders. Translations can never be duplicate content. Ensure that you use the correct meta language tag or else add a simple language attribute to the body tag on every page. Ensure you declare the correct character set for every page; use either the HTTP header or a meta tag.

Now i am ranking in specific positions from some main site terms on google.com Adding pages with new languages , what do you think will happend with actually .com rankings ? The relevance can be diluted for .com visitors in Google's eyes?
