Has anyone else noticed the google webmaster tool report - "Pages with external links" returning ZERO for number of backlinks (even though it has shown backlinks before)

Should I be worried or is this a known bug?

This has happened all all three sites in this account which vary in shades of light grey :)

Hmm, doesnt seem to be a penatly (unless its taking time to bed in) as still #1 (main site), 2 & 3 (sub,d) for target phrases... I just hope this isn't g's link algo being hyper-sensitive to a small % of dodgy backlinks... (which i hoped had been balanced out with some seriously high trust links)

We are showing the same thing on all 3 of our websites we have setup with webmaster tools and all 3 are completely unconnected.

I believe it is just a glitch as it says in one spot data unavailable at this time. If it isnt a glitch well there goes 10 years of building up a pr8 whitehat website:)

I have noticed the same "error". But it seems that only this site and the seoroundtable are talking about it. My rankings haven't moved, so thats good. Anyone notice any rank issues with this?

No rank issues at all.

In fact a slight increase in the serps over the w/e on most sites.

Yes - same happened to me - I was just about to start a new thread asking about this!

Until 2 months ago, the site had shown anywhere from 2 - 20 quality external links for every page. No it just says "no links found"

And not just for external links, but for internal links too, even though all my pages are linked within the articles in various ways. Same thing - just "no links found"

The external links are still out there - I'd written them down when they were showing. They're just not there in the Webmaster Tools.

And yes - no changes in ranking or traffic that I notice.

I have the same thing on both my sites, noticed it yesterday. No ranking issues. And one site had over 7000 links before it went to 0.
