Yep, no gmail, no google.com, no google.de and youtube has lost its stylesheet. I only hope people still know how to spell "Yahoo" or my sales might get hurt badly. Google staff germany on a trip to CEBIT and the last one to exit shut down the servers? Uh oh. The blank spots on my websites running Adsense don't look very pretty either... ok, I changed my IP to a british one, now google.de is back. Youtube.com too. So I suppose its a problem of the german IPs. [edited by: Scandiaca at 4:21 pm (utc) on Mar. 6, 2008]

yep. Tried it with a proxy... works! A friend of mine has Arcor. He can actually reach everything. Seems to be a problem with the German Telekom. :/ At least it's not a Google problem.

For some regions in Germany DSL-customers of t-online and T -com they could not use any of google's services (search, adwords) Neither wwww.google.de, www.google.com nor the respective IP-addresses worked. In some regions the service now okay, in others it is still not working. [edited by: tedster at 6:24 pm (utc) on Mar. 6, 2008] [edit reason] moved from another location [/edit]

DNS error - cannot find server. Suggestions Go to the home page of the site: google.com Go to the sitemap of the site: google.com/sitemap.html Search within the site mail.google.com for the terms hosted "mydomain" Try searching on Google:

German media [dslteam.de] reports that a traceroute ended within the T-Com network. Obviously any provider depending on T-Com's infrastructure was affected. It is also reported that google.de was unreachable but the problem being resolved now. Only: ALL global Google domains and services are still off. As usual T-Com fails to respond professionally and quickly, most media not even finding competent people a the call centers.

Still down, but no problems to reach google.fr or google.it from here, just to give two examples. Googe's mainpage has always been THE most reliable internetadress because of it's lean design and quick loading speed. What a mess.

If they use carriers who not rely on t-com for example (arcor, alice, etc.). Using my Swiss firewall everything is normal with global G.

Probably the problem of T-com lasted only for one hour or so. But I could not reach www.google.de or www.google.com for several hours. But then I found in German internet media (Heise and Golem) that I only had to unplug my router (e.g. FritzBox), then plug it in again: After that no more problem. Reason: The disconnecting of the router causes that you get a new IP-address from the provider (T-com). I am a little bit disappointed that Webmasterworld did not allow a timely discussion of this problem here. Delaying the news here forced me to look for other sources. Next time I will look somewhere else first.

Just now I had to restart my router again. After that the problem with www.google.de was solved again.

Since this incident, my traffic is a bit down and so is adsense. I have 83% traffic from Germany. Anyone else does notice this?
