I recently heard that Yahoo is concentrating on paid inclusion again. I am not sure how much they do it now.

My question is: What are the chances Google would adopt paid inclusion in a big way?

Zero.

I hope they never do as that is why Yahoo is so totally screwed up.

Maybe Yahoo is focusing on paid inclusion because its got more skin in that game. Maybe Panama was a bust. It certainly did not make Yahoo Search the leading PPC program.

At any rate, I don't think Google would ever take that approach. I think it would clash with Adwords and they dont have the room for paid results as it would take another piece of organic search results off of page 1. IMOP
