Google slower at indexing
slow google crawlers

I have new content linked from High PR pages and google does not visit for weeks. That tells me that google is missing out on much of the web. Who will step in and be the engine that actually indexes?

Google changed thier system because they could not cope with such regular indexing and that means thier search results are hopelessly out of date. Who can step up to the plate and actualy offer relevant results in a timely fashion? Does anyone even care?

I'm not seeing any particular slow down in either spidering or indexing by Google - in fact, just a few weeks back, there was a spidering near-frenzy on some of the sites I work with.

i'm seeing sites that used to get spidered 3 times a day get hit 2 to 3 times a day... page rank isn't that big a factor when it comes to spidering. If you have a slow server they'll hit you less often, if they see your content rarely changes (filesize don't change)they also will slow down if you don't keep getting more links on a regular basis.
