Better understanding Internal-Link & external-Links
Impact on PR & SERP

This post is intended to read the minds of veteran-SEO master, so that novice SEO-master can make themself better.

Below are the questions? answers are expected with the context of 'Google' but not necessaryly.

1) what do you mean by 'Internal-links'?
is it 'your site' -> 'another website'?
what impact 'internal-link' makes on PR and SERP?

2) what is 'External-links'?
is it 'another website' -> 'your website'?
what impact 'external-link' gets on PR and SERP?

3) what do you called when my website links to its own sub-pages?
what impact does it make on PR and SERP? (this qustion is vital for me)

4) which is the way to link to my own sub-pages?
is it TEXT -> http://www.example.com/myself.html
OR
TEXT -> myself.html?

YES

GOOGLE SEE A PAGE AS A PAGE FOR ITS PR CALCULATIONS HOWEVER DEGREE OF RELEVENCE AND WEIGHT GIVEN TO INTERNAL LINK IS LOWER THEN EXTERNAL LINK. ITS LIKE YOU THINK YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR, GOOGLE WILL AGREE BUT WILL BE HAPPY IF OTHERS VOTE THAT.

is it 'another website' -> 'your website'?
YES

what impact 'external-link' gets on PR and SERP?
RELEVENT LINKS FROM RELEVENT SITES FOR RELEVENT CONTENT DO BETTER WITH MORE AND MORE NATURALLY GAINED EXTERNAL LINKS. PR IS JUST A GAME NOWADAYS.

3) what do you called when my website links to its own sub-pages?
what impact does it make on PR and SERP? (this qustion is vital for me)

YES

Most people I know would say an internal link is within one domain. A link that goes to another domain's internal page is sometimes called a "deep link".

I don't understand much of the questions posed but I can say this.

First of all, PR has little or nothing at all to do with SERPs.

Secondly, there are three main types of links.

Incoming or Inbound Links - those are links from other web sites to your web site

External, Outbound or Outgoing Links - those are links from your web site pointing to other web sites

Internal Links - those are the links within your web site that point to other pages with your web site.
