Hi:
I suspect nothing wrong with your server of DNS servers. This happened to me a few times. Log out of your Google email account - use the link on the upper right hand corner of the Webmaster first screen. Then log back in and you will suddenly be 'verified'. Weird but it works. Cheers,

I have the same issue but logging out didn't resolve it for me. Out of 22 sites 14 have lost their verification and won't re-verify. Strange.

I had that 3 months ago. Just wait then resubmit. It seems to be connected to their 3 months algo downgrades aeh updates.

I'm seeing this now for some of my sites. I can click on the link to the verification file and find and view it without problems, but the verification process fails anyway.

It's happening with a lot of sites, nothing we can do exept wait till Google fixes whatever is broken.

I'm glad to see this is not isolated to myself - I just got off the phone with my datacenter manager wondering if it was an issue on our end and we were about to go nuts trying to figure it out... i can take a nice deep breath now...

Yes same happening with me , website was verified earlier , now again it ask for verification and gives error

Well the error message is "your server/dns", heaven forbid that they admit something could be wrong at their end.

My sites are all re-verifying without error now. They obviously fixed whatever was broken.
