Rankings Vary When Logged into GMAIL

 2:11 am on Apr 27, 2007 (gmt 0)

i've seen very different results in the SERPS for many weeks. a few sites, including mine, seem to be ranked better when i'm logged into my Google account (GMAIL, tools, adwords, etc), then when i'm logged out. has anyone noticed this? perhaps it's been discussed. the only thing i could contribute this too is how they now track the number of visits to each site when you are logged in. since i tend to click on my site more, it must be more relevant to my query?

Try and see if personalised search is enabled. I have also seen this but managed to disable it (Goog are not making this easy). I still have to completely log out to get some 'real' results though.
