The outfit hosting a church site let the domain name expire. With 2 days left in the recovery period, I paid him to rescue the domain name and turn the domain name over to us.

I set the site up on another server. I linked to it from my page. It retained its DMOZ link.

But a site: search in G doesn't bring up any pages.

I understand that G doesn't want to reward those who just buy up a domain for the links it has upon expiration. But the same church has the same site with the same domain name ...

How do I get back into Google? This was 3 months ago that I rescued the name & began resuscitating the site.

thanks!

Have u set up a sitemap for the site and showed ownership of it? Do some things to build the trust value back and it will come back.

>>showed ownership

You mean, made significant content / markup changes? No, not really.
