Has anyone here ever used [edit]link auctions[/edit] to purchase links? Is this considered a dubious practice? I know Google considers buying backlinks bad but that serves their interests - my question is whether purchasing links on places like the above help my rankings in the Google (I'm assuming a context matched link). I'm thinking the answer depends completely on the site you are purchasing links from but would appreciate any input you guys can offer.
