No Limit on cached page size

hi everybody,
I have been monitoring cached page size for many websites since last 6-8 weeks. And i was purposely looking for the large cached page size ,who were more than 200KB. And I was constantly researching on the SERPS of those 200KB+ pages some of them were even 400KB+. And I have seen that almost all of them were coming up for their unique keywords which were on the bottom of the pages, i mean those keywords who were far beyond the limit of 100KB+ and i finally concluded that google is now no more keeping limit on the cached page size.

Good report - thanks much for letting us in on your results. I've been suspecting this for a long time but I never took the time to test it formally.

I have noticed the same thing in the past few months for some competitors of mine, and am baffled. The pages would appear to be small 25K or so in size, but all of the spam alt text, hidden text, links, etc. are puffing up the page size to 200K+, and G is indexing it all. Also noticed ranking for KW well beyond 100K at the bottom of the page.

I have seen larger cache sizes for several months... but intermittently.
