|Ranking #1 but need to move host!|
What to do?
We have a site that is currently listed as #1 on Google for very competitive keywords and has been on top for almost 8 years.
After doing some FTP to the host account I noticed a Trojan inside one of our directory folders.
Now we need to consider moving onto a dedicated server with a different host as this site is our bread & butter. Currently the site is on a shared server with 8,000 other sites.
My question is will there be a big risk to our rankings if we move server & IP? Are there specific steps I should take to help keep our rankings safe?
