My site not showing in results.

I have quite a bit of experience, so please don't regard this as a "rookie question". I have a site which has been up for 11 months. Through the use of Google Sitemaps, I see that Google has cached my pages properly.

Problem is, I am not seeing my results in the Google SERP's, whereas I rank fairly well in Yahoo and MSN's. I have decent, relevant content and a couple very good and relevant inbound links. I can't figure out why all these crap sites are ranking and I'm not. I can find the site if I search for the exact title, but no other way...

Could the aging delay/sandbox still be holding me back even 11 months later? How can I find out if this is the problem or it lies elsewhere?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
