... far more interesting to me has been the arguments generally about how Google just apparently copies and expands into whatever it wants ...
Reading some of these accusations, you come away with the impression that Google should have sat in its little search box and let other companies expand into new areas.

No doubt that G's model operates on content indexed... and no doubt that for the last 10 years webmasters wanted them to do it. No doubt that wake up calls are belated... and here we are.
