I'm using gmail in the U.S. Recently, loging into one of my gmail accounts has been taking about 20 seconds.
Now, I can't access my mail at all!

Are you able to use your login for other Google services attached to that account?

I've just logged in, finally.
But, I recall seeing my logged in status during google search. Yet, clicking on gmail link was repeating the error message.

Gmail has been fast/slow/non-loading throughout the day and night for me. All other "Google Things" are working just fine - at least the ones I use. But Gmail the past 24 hours has been hit and miss.

I use the Chrome browser & a number of times this past week the Gmail page just hung when I tried to open it after login.
I just reloaded the page & it showed up without a problem.

I second that. For about 4 days now, Gmail has been sluggish. It seems to be getting worse. I can't login half the time and once I'm in, I'm having a hard time opening mail.
Any word from Google on this? I won't bother emailing them. I never ever ever get a response.
