I have it in my account & can only say one thing - SUPER!
What a change from the drab interface of the old Gmail.

|After playing around for a few minutes I decided it would be best to head back to the old default and get back to work... |
I did get back to the default after playing on the new themes for a while. I also thought many people will try some of the themes and get back to the default.

I'm a bit disappointed - my i-Google page has a cityscape that changes shade with the time of day; quite relaxing - these themes are wind0ze-type boring colour schemes, plus a couple of weird static pictures that make it hard to read the page.
Why can't they have the same options for both? Don't they talk to each other?

... And it's really weird to use a different computer and find that themes are gone, and so is the tab ... because IE cannot cope with noo technology!

Some of the themes ask you for your location (country & city), and they are supposed to change depending on the time of day as well. I haven't tried any of them for longer than a few minutes though. I'm too used to the classic default.

One of the nice things about Google & Gmail is the clean, uncluttered interface. The new themes won't stay off. I am stuck with the mountains background image on the gmail login page. Fix it G, thanks.
