Gmail Offline: Google Apologises [gmailblog.blogspot.com] Many of you had trouble accessing Gmail for a couple of hours this afternoon, and we're really sorry. The issue was caused by a temporary outage in our contacts system that was preventing Gmail from loading properly. Everything should be back to normal by the time you read this.

I use gmail every day for business, probably 20 - 30 times a day. The past 2 to 3 weeks when i perform any fuction ... send / search or anything ... about 33% of the time i get an error message and then i can immediately try again successfully. I think servers are overloaded. Messages vary. I never had trouble before August
