| gmail login broken?

Yesterday the gmail login kept coming up with a login error - it didn't like my password. Today it won't log me in at all. Further, it doesn't even come up with an error message, just takes me back to the login screen. But I am able to login using IE. Just not Firefox. On checking some more I find that in IE I can go to mail.google.com/mail/ but when I try that URL with Firefox it takes me to https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=... then it scrolls through google-analytics, blogger and a whole host of others before deciding to take me to ServiceLogin?service=mail. And then the mail login doesn't work (though, if I use other services like google.com, it shows me as logged in). Google, your "accounts" idea is crap. It's not user friendly. It's not even beta quality. Why don't you just scrap it for now? Anyone else with gmail login problems or are you all clearing cache/using IE etc to make it into gmail?

I just tried to go to the gmail page and it is giving me a certificate error. Then I allowed it to go through, but can't even get to a login page.....SOMETHING IS AMISS!

Wow, I'm even getting it when I sign into my Adsense account. Could this be me or is this a global challenge. I opened a new browser and it goes to my igoogle page...the theme I have is suppose to change with the time of day. It's giving me a night time image, not the evening image. So I tried to log out and resign in, but it gives me an error page. Gmail is not working, Adsense gives certificate error, but will allow me to click"not recommended" and go to the login page. I haven't been able to use my gmail or apps (paid gmail) accounts all day. I got in earlier but all sent mails were dupes. Seems like they simply barfed after those 13 new features. Didn't google know better to ship 13 features? come on.. 12 or 14 works but 13 ;)
