| How to syndicate content

I was considering syndicating my content via RSS and I was wondering about something. Would a webmaster just grab the same RSS that I provide for visitors or do I need to do something special with it? Also, would the RSS content be able to be read by the search engines? I know that if you syndicate with JavaScript the engines can't read it.

I'm not any good with html and stuff, but I think its more important in what format it is displayed, or put on a page, that determines whether it can be read by search engines. If optimizing pages for search engines, and using RSS feeds to keep your content up to date, you must not use javascript to display it. Use html.
