Is there a perl-based app to create rss feed from a MySQL database runner msg:1543275 9:54 pm on Jan 17, 2006 (gmt 0) Somewhere I saw a perl app that created an rss feed from a MySQL database but now I can't seem to locate it. I've found magpie but it's php-based and I don't do php.
Anybody know where I can find that perl app? ...or remember the name of it?

Runner, this is a good list of RSS parsers: [ ...] rssgov.com There is one on that site that runs in perl and caches to mysql, did not see any that build from it. Demaestro msg:1543277 10:42 pm on Jan 20, 2006 (gmt 0)

Hi Runner, I think the Spidering Hacks book from O'reily has a pretty neat hack on a PERL module that turns html data into an RSS feed, i believe the module is XML::RSS. Goto search.cpan.org and search for it and other equivalents. Its pretty neat stuff
