Building an NCAA Bracket - rss feeds?

The last few years, i've told myself that I was going to build an online NCAA tourney bracket, and this year i'm going to hold myself to it. It's still nice and early (holy crap it's december already) and my first order of business is to figure out HOW to get my data.

I've tinkered with RSS feeds and i know i can get sports headlines with them, but i'm looking for realtime Scores to games. Does anyone know if RSS is the technology for me, or have any suggestions otherwise? I'm working on a server with PHP, but have access to another server with ColdFusion. I'm willing to drop a few bucks if a subscription to a service will get me the data.

Thanks!
