How do I get rid of this 'XML Parsing Error'? This code causes it.

<whatever:category>URL</whatever:category>
<whatever2:categoryname>Category Name</whatever2:categoryname>

An online feed validator says.....

>>line 16, column 0: XML parsing error: <unknown>:16:0: unbound prefix

and the browser says....

XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: URL
Line Number 19, Column 93:

Are "whatever" and "whatever2" defined namespaces? If not, that may well be your problem - the colon in XML is only used to denote the namespace of the element (unbound prefix - ie. the prefix "whatever" is not bound to a defined namespace).

Nope. Is there a list of defined namespaces some where?

I got it fixed. Had to add some \'s and change

<whatever:category>
and
<whatever2:category>

to

<title>
and
<link>
