RSS Date Problem

My RSS feed Date doesn't display correctly when I view the feed in Thunderbird.

It doesn't display the date, it only displays the time and this is 6 hours earlier than it should be. I'm in Mountain Standard time.

Your date should be in this style:
Tue, 21 Jun 2005 21:57:42 MDT
that requires knowing when daylight time happens, in order to correct for the 6 hour time difference from UTC standard time.
