Viss, If you are talking about putting other sites RSS feeds into your site then you are going to need a parser. I would imagine PHPnuke would have some kind of addin or module for this. The other option is to use an RSS to javascript tool, the only downside is that the bots may not be able to spider javascript content. I am working on a similar thing for myself where I have created an app to get RSS feeds and turn them into static HTML.

It is also possible to do this in perl. There is a good tutorial here [webreference.com]. If this is no good for you, can I suggest you try the euronuke site which has a really good forum system for answering these type of questions purely for phpnuke. Good luck.
