When to update my.yahoo RSS feed?
Do you have to reload your my.yahoo page or ping it?

I have added my RSS feeds to my.yahoo

Do I need to reload the my.yahoo page everytime I post something new?

Do I need to ping it using the URL they shared?

I used to ping it, but I think it fetches updates automatically.

They say that the maximum refresh interval is 24 hours (minimum is 30 minutes for a constantly updated site).

They do have a REST interface so you can just generate a link e.g.

[api.my.yahoo.com...]

if you need to get your updated feed to be reset quicker (see the Get Your Content Syndicated link on the Add RSS page)

If your blog software supports it, you can ping Yahoo with this URL:
http://api.my.yahoo.com/RPC2
