New MSNBot guidelines MSN padding out webmaster info? RichD msg:1538025 2:46 pm on May 23, 2004 (gmt 0) I'm 90% sure this is new, sorry if its not.
I just loaded up the page referenced in the msnbot/0.11 user agent ( [
...] ) and noticed they have now added 'Guidelines to help MSNBot crawl your web page'. Before I think the url went straight to the faq section. search.msn.com
Could they be preparing for launch? (or have I just had too much sun ;) )

good find but I think the next page is what everyone is more interest in :)
It seems that msnbot likes static short URL's and plain HTML 4.01.
It is also the first time in history that MS refers to the W3C specifications of HTML rather than MSIE HTML version with unsupported tags. :)
Also check out the link at the bottom of the page...they are hiring
Esspecially the second picture is funny. Their employee doesn't think they will find a solution and wants to jump of the bridge. I guess MSN search is still far away :P
