My folders are dynamic in my URI. The state of a folder determines what to show on the page, much like regular parameters. The placing of the specific folder in the URI varies. Ok, basically i use ISAPI Rewrite to change all '&' to '/' and all '=' to '~'. I don't want the bots to index my page when my menu has an advanced state wich is determined by the fololwing parameter /leftstate~adv_ftg/
Can I block this by writing
User-agent: *
Disallow: /leftstate~adv_ftg/
in the robots.txt file. Does it block the occurence anywhere in the URI or only if it is in the root?
Get what I mean?
