Apache Web Server Forum

Redirect sub-domain to url on same sever

I am running on one server right now but anticipating a second image server in the future.

What I want to do is something like this:

Img URL: [sub.domain.com...]

When the real location would be [domain.com...]

This way in the future it will be a smooth transition to a new image server.

Does anyone know how to, or an article that explains how to configure this setup in Apache?

Thanks in advance,

This search [google.com], plus the documents cited in our forum charter [webmasterworld.com] and the tutorials in the Apache forum section of the WebmasterWorld library [webmasterworld.com], should get you started.
