.htaccess and MIME types
Adding MIME types to the .htaccess

 2:05 pm on Feb 2, 2006 (gmt 0)

I am making a change to the .htaccess file for MIME types and am just wondering if I have structured it correctly. I have serveral movies I am putting on my site and am trying to make sure that the .mov extension is associated correctly. What I have entered is:

"AddType application/video-quicktime mov"

Is this correct?

Hello gstiles, you made that up, didn't you ;)

AddType video/quicktime mov

Not sure if there's a need to do this in .htaccess, since it is in Apache's default mime.types file.
