"Immediate help on Apache" Apache is installed but not recognized heerajee
i have installed Apache 2.0, when i check it on the command prompt the message is shown on black screen(Apache is not recognized as an internal or external commad, operable program or batch file).
If i open the internet explorer and run the URL as [ ...] the error message is displayed(The page cannot be displayed). localhost,
I am very thankful for your help about this.
What O/S is this?
Where did you get the apache app from?
Need more info.
Do you have IIS already runnng, if so you need to disable this, because both Apache and IS use port 80
Sounds like "Apache is not recognized as an internal or external commad, operable program or batch file" is the same reaction you would get if you typed
in a shell. It's not there.
cd into C:/Program Files/[wherever you installed apache]/ and try again.
I have already stop my already installed IIS and then use the apache, sounds like this as u mentioned, Apache is not recognized as an internal or external commad, operable program or batch file.
How i can configure Appache, acutally i want to to change my .php page to .html on my site.
I am using os as windows xp 2002.
Thanks, waiting for your further information.
