Hi,

i have installed Apache 2.0, when i check it on the command prompt the message is shown on black screen(Apache is not recognized as an internal or external commad, operable program or batch file).
If i open the internet explorer and run the URL as [localhost,...] the error message is displayed(The page cannot be displayed).

I am very thankful for your help about this.

Do you have IIS already runnng, if so you need to disable this, because both Apache and IS use port 80

Sounds like "Apache is not recognized as an internal or external commad, operable program or batch file" is the same reaction you would get if you typed
askdlamsdklmaklsd in a shell. It's not there.

cd into C:/Program Files/[wherever you installed apache]/ and try again.
