Logrotate Question
When do weekly/monthly rotations take place

Hi Guys ...

Am just setting up logrotate on an Apache server for the first time, but there is one aspect of its configuration I can't find in the documentation.

Currently, logs rotate just after 4am every Sunday morning. But logrotate is set up to run daily. What tells logrotate that Sunday is the correct day to do this?

I really want to make log rotation monthly (which is pretty simple using Webmin), but want to make sure that the logs will rotate in the early hours of the 1st day of the month.

Any help in clearing the fog would be much appreciated :)
