ive been checking forums and htaccess help sites, but im not having much luck. i host a mirror for a friend's website. the user goes to www.<website>.com and is randomly taken to a mirror.

now my question is how once they come to my mirror, how do i only let people who actually visit the website download files and not people who link on other websites?

Dekkon,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]!

This thread [webmasterworld.com] might give you some ideas. It discusses code to serve alternate images to outside referers (hotlinkers), and can be adapted to other uses.
