I have a NAS (Network Attached Storage) that has a web interface, that I want to set up as a sub directory of my main site that is running Apache under Linux.

ex. [mysite.com...]

The problem that I am running into is that the NAS makes a reference to an internal directory that it has with a leading slash (/)

ex. /drive

It needs to go to [mysite.com...] to work properly, but I am being sent to [mysite.com...] instead, which does not exist. I cannot re-code the NAS, to fix the problem, because it is an out of the box kind of product.

Is there a way of setting up Apache so that it will prevent this from happening, and fix my problem?

You may want to look into mod_rewrite for your problem.

Thanks for a glimpse of hope.
I will read up on that.
