getting to directory, apache2/bin

Hi, I'm trying to get to the directory:

/apache group/apache2/bin/

how do I do this in the httpd config file? Is it /usr/local/apache2/bin/?

Thanks! :) BTW- I'm running apache2 on win XP.

I'm trying to setup user authentication with Mod_Auth but it doesn't seem to be working. I have in my httpd configuration file this:

<Directory directory/>
AuthType Basic
AuthUserFile "c:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/bin/user"
AuthName "Private Area"
Require valid-user
</Directory>

So that takes care of the directory and I've created a user file named "user" in the bin directory but for some reason whenever I access [localhost...] I get an error that it cannot find the server. No error shows up in Apache Error log but in access log there is a 301 and 302 output number for the directory. Any suggestions? Thanks.
