Finding my .htaccess file after I upload it
I can't find it.

I'm on a Windows machine and my server is on a Unix machine. Once I upload my .htaccess file I can't see it to get it back and change it. Are they any FTP programs that will allow me to see that file? I've tried Cute FTP, WS_FTP Pro, as well as just FTPing through IE.

When using WS-FTP you need to insert a filter before seeing "invisible" files such as .htaccess. Type "-la" (without the quotes) into the empty box (second one down?) on the right hand side of the WS-FTP screen and hit return.

.htaccess should now be visible
