I would appreciate it if someone could tell me whether variables from a jsp page on one webserver can be passed to an asp page on another server.

Only by posting to the other page. Posted variables don't know where they came from. The values are passed as text in the HTTP header.

If both webservers share the same database back end you may also store values from those variables in the DB and retrieve them using DB querries. This may not be the smartest way of doing things though...
