I got my invite in Japanese, I clicked on the accept button and ended up on an English page where they politely informed me that this offer was not available in my country... <harrumph> Hope it goes well for you. The preliminary reviews say this new service is quite impressive.

I am really impressed with this service, if they can learn a bit from Gmail like directly going to inbox
and allow automatic resizing for screen resolution
I would say that this service could become a Gmail Killer...

I read somewhere that the interface looked like the stand alone Outlook 2003 interface and that it was all Ajax powered. How's this working for you cross browser? It took Gmail forever to get their Opera support going...I hate to imagine the wait I'd have with an MS product. ;)

|Using Internet Explorer versions 6.0 and higher will give you the best Mail Beta user experience with access to all Mail Beta functionality such as the reading pane and keyboard shortcuts |
This is the message I get in Opera / Firefox.
There is no reading pane in these browsers, interface is faster that old one, and clean white without ads but no real improvement for these browsers.
If I were Microsoft why would I care about other browsers? So I have serious doubts that browser support will ever come.
Instead they encourage you to download IE 6

I like the right click feature in messages pane
when you right click
you get a menu which has the options
And also useful is a single click report and delete spam mail button.
With MSN like that who needs Goog?
