You don't understand my pain seeing the Steelers go to the big game. Seahawks by 3, 24-21.

I just hate the Steelers going in as the favorite, think they play much better as the underdog. Anyway, Steelers in a nailbiter, 27 - 24.

Would much rather see the Steelers as the underdog, seems to give em' a mental edge. 6th seed favored over the 1st seed seems odd.

| "I think [former Raiders receiver] Tim Brown said it the best," Alexander said. "He said, 'I love the Seahawks and I love what they do, but I've beat them so many times that I just can't pick them.' I laughed about it, but I was like, 'I understand.' |
| Seahawks are my team! Gonna get some respect for once. Seahawks 30, Steelers 21 Can't wait!

| Yeah, except when you consider how mid-season injuries can depress the overall record of a VERY good (Steelers) team. Here in Philly we're sorry last year's potential all PA matchup hasn't worked out yet, but it still gives us an instate team to support. The only thing that makes me nervous about rooting for the Steelers is that I've rooted for the loosing side in every one of their Super Bowls (mainly because as a kid I really admired Tom Landry & Roger Staubach..)

| Except when you look at the (team) talent pool in the NFC, then compare it to the AFC. Not even close.

My gut tells me Pittsburgh will win. However, my concern is who will win against the spread. I follow my friend's picks religiously (who's made a living off of sports betting), so I'm still waiting for him to let me know of his pick. <snip> I went 1-1 last week - nailed Seattle, but lost on the Under to the first game. To conclude, for next year...go Eagles! [edited by: lawman at 10:29 pm (utc) on Jan. 24, 2006]

24-21 Seattle. That having been stated, I would root against the Steelers if the opposing team was coached by Osama Bin Laden with a team made up entirely of members of the Taliban. Go Browns! (someday, maybe, if no one steals the team again....)

I think the streakers will win against the police 2: 1 this year... errr.. Hopefully Seahawks, but seeing as how my team never wins in any sport, (except back in the Jordan years): Steelers in a wopper, 34-14.
