|Yahoo! E-mail requires a code before it sends?|
I've had this account for years and now....
...all of a sudden it wants me to type in a particular code before I can actually send a message?
Good grief! I gotta jump thru hoops with my own account!
I think Yahoo! has gone too far. If they want to stop UCE/SPAM from being sent, do it another way. Just because I write this individual frequently?
long list of expletives go here
Free email accounts seem to getting worse now, space, ads (except Hotmail). If I were you I would get a paid account.
Taking away POP3 is to be expected.
As for Yahoo! making you put a code in before sending an email, I'm pretty sure it's just random. One time they made me do that as well, then never again.
It may be just that they do it once to all accounts, then never again as well.
For the record though, MSN Hotmail seems to be going SUPER slow for me the past week. Taking 15-20 minutes to open.
Well, it only happened that one time, so maybe that's all I'll see of it.
Regarding Hotmail: Well, I started another account a couple of weeks ago and just today noticed it is only 25Mb, rather than the upgraded, older account, which is 250Mb.
25 is cool, but I 'assumed' it would be the same size as my older account. No where near filling up, just greedy. :)
I think after 30 days (or some time) you get 250MB automatically.
