not that there was really a moment of suspense but I asked my girlfriend - Nora - to marry me this afternoon.

We've been dating three years and I love her to pieces. She's even written some content for me ;)

You know it must be love when you skip out on a day of pubcon to make the drive from Vegas to LA to ask for parental permission.

Woohoo. Congrats hooloovoo22. So the parents are losing a daughter, and you are gaining a copy writer. "Who could ask for anything more?"

How irresponsible! And they gave permission anyway?

Congrats to both of you. You already can work as a team, so things are looking good for you.

Awesome... I just did the same thing tonight! Have been with Bethany for nearly 4 years -- an djust popped the question out of the blue. Likewise, she said yes!

Congrats, and take care!

The lawman "Should I Marry Him/Her Test":

Have you seen him/her mad?

If so and you aren't scared, you might as well get married. :)

Free advice: don't let her eat any wedding cake. ;)

Me thinks if you can get through 3-4 years of relationship wihtout seeng him/her mad, that's also a reason to get married... but then again, I'm not married, and have no plans to be.

Too true. Didn't think I could possibly love my wife of seven years more - until she began translating content for me! Kinda brings the relationship to a new level.

Congrats!
