| Anyone use Pinnacle Studio 9?

I've just started using Pinnacle Studio 9 to convert some of my DV camcorder footage to DVD. I shot the footage in widescreen format, and Pinnacle captures and plays back fine. But when I write to a DVD and stick it in my DVD player and watch on my widescreen TV, it has chopped off a significant portion from each of the 4 edges of the frame. It is still filling the widescreen area though, but I'm missing a lot of tops of heads and bottoms of legs, etc.! Anyone any suggestions? BTW, I'm in the UK so am on PAL system.
