i recently made the switch from mozilla to firefox out of curiosity. can't say i'm satisfied. they both display the same way, obviously, but firefox seems really slow.

it takes a good 40 seconds to load my home page, google, in a new window when the app is running in the background. it is also noticeably slower while browsing.

oh well, i guess it's back to mozilla--too bad, i liked the way bookmarks were handled in firefox.

That doesn't sound right to me. I didn't time Firefox when I first used it (downloaded it less than a month ago) but it's definitely faster than you describe!

If I were you, I woul re-download Firefox and give it abother go, because it is an excellent, fast little browser!

I agree with Ivana...I used IE, then Firebird, now Firefox...Firefox is very fast, just as fast as Firebird was, and MUCH faster than IE.

I think FireFox is faster than FireBird. Be sure to read the installation directions before executing the setup.
