| Four weddings and a funeral? |
| Crud...I must've slept through two weddings! C'mon, Hugh Grant, Andie MacDowell...this has chick flick written all over it....but it's a "manly" chick flick.

I was actually shocked when I saw "About a Boy", It was much better than what I expected, and I did not even want to throw anything any at Hugh Grant. So if that movie is a "Chick Flick" thats what I nominate.

I hated Coyte Ugly with a pasion. There is one great scene when Kevin is trying to get Violet to sing. He brings here to a dark studio or something. The place is lit by a few candles and he blows them out so that she can't see him and the whole place goes from light to dark. Two candles.... Look out for it next time. My sister enjoyed it and has watched it in multiples. menton

I'm with agerhart here. I saw About Schmidt on the plane to London SES. I thought it would never end, but I was delighted when it was finished, because I thought three and a half hours (or more!) had passed. Then I looked at my watch. That must have been the longest 1 Hour and 58 Minutes of my life. The movie was simply terrible.

when you say "from a guy's perspective"... do you mean: a) best for getting your girl in the right mood b) most enjoyable for a guy to watch c) one with the most interesting scenary?

| Sorry, none of the above. More like a guide for women on what NOT to do if you want to keep us around:)...Things like leaving 30 messages on our answering machines(in a row), redecorating our bathrooms with girly colors, dragging us to see Celine Dion or getting us beat up...

| I think he was referring to the original topic of the thread. ;) What is the original poster looking to get out of the 'chick flicks' in question? Dragging someone to a Celine Dion concert doesn't sound like the "best" of anything from either perspective... *shudder*
