need i say more.
HRM = human resources manager or IHRM (I for international)
I did work 3 years in HR and did the study for IHRM but been caught in the internet - THANK G*D - :)
Branch Manager for a Motor Factors :(
I managed to escape before reaching the above position into the world of webmastering, fortunatley with the same company :)
I used to be a collector. I went to peoples homes and kindly ask them to pay up when they didn't settle their bills in time. I do not ever, ever want to go back to that. I guess I would like to be a teacher, a librarian or a security guard if I had to stop doing SEO.
I would be a shelf stacker on nights in the local Kwik Save if i hadnt of found the web.
Id like to be a full time painter/sculptor though, but its too hard to make a living IMO. :(
I would be a Mafia Fixer (no, really!) ;)
Pirate or landscape gardener.
Altogether now: "He's a lumberjack and he's ok..."
I'd probably still be painting tacky Murals in even tackier theme pubs. Is there still a market for tacky theme pubs? They were all the rage in the eighties. <added>actually I think it was the nineties. Need a memory upgrade.</added>
Fork lift truck driver - still renew my licence every three years, so if all else fails... ;)
I still kinda miss flying around on my yellow truck with no need to talk to customers & getting a reasonable tan in the summer sun. Now the only thing my skin absorbs is monitor radiation. :(
Full time paragliding pilot!
<car manufacturer> test driver.
An means to an end.
3 years, 2 months and 27 days to retire... well not really but that's the end of my SEM career. Pass this garbage on to Spherica (my brother).
Lived and die for submarines... and that's where I'm headed. :)
Seatle 1000 will be the first (USSubs.com) a luxury yacht that is actually an acrylic tile and aluminum alloy submarine. Take tourists on deep sea charters, live-aboard diving, and cruise some of Nova Scotia's 9,000 shipwrecks.
work for Hormel Foods Corporation ;)
Started as a paperboy.
Then a Lumberjack.
Worked on the trail crews.
Then A Forester.
And a Land Surveyor on the Appalachian Trail areas of Northern New Hampshire and Maine.
Cold and Snow in the winter. Heat, Rain and Biting Insects in the summer. But clean air and good healthy exercise.
How in the world I became the webmaster for a Vermont newspaper? Life continues to amaze. Its not what I started out for...
Wow, first Monkscuba and then TheWebographer... Maybe we need a lumberjack forum here. ;)
Being a spy would be kinda fun...
"well Mish Moneypenny ;)"
Would have liked to design video games. :)
I would be Mayor of some city [media.hormel.com].
Spamville - I like it! lol! nice find Macguru :)
I didn't have to go very far to find Spamville. This truck [spammobile.com] just led me to it.
Macguru, I'm surprised you are putting your spam secrets in plain view here. On a related topic, do you think spammobile.com is one of GG's "bad neighborhoods"? The site is certainly full of spam, even the graphics are spammy.
If you lose the mayor's race, Macguru, you could always try out for Museum Director [media.hormel.com].
If I ever get free time I would like to get back into painting and officially become an artist.
Spent eleven years working as an activity coordinator for the elderly. Loved it but the poor system and injustices finally got to me.
Frankly I can't imagine doing anything else except SEO at this point.
If I could, I imagine I'd be a professional gardner, yep, that would be the "other" dream job. :)
I am not even a designer. Yeah learned HTML, DHTML, Jscript,VBscript, XML,ASPetc but i hardly recollect anything. Literally jumped into SEO and am thoroughly enjoying it :) But I don't know what else I could have done. ;)
Macguru, i want that truck! Where do you find these things? lol!
From my front door to the museum...
Total Estimated Time: 1 hour, 53 minutes
Total Distance: 113.01 miles
And the spamobile will be there the last weekend in August. Lol! I might have to go...
