as i am working on the web, ofcourse i am watching msn,cnn, etc,,, it is unbelivable that we can have reporters on tanks etc,, and watch this go on, the tech is super if you think about it we can watch it as it goes on, and it s not tv if something goes wrong, guess what it happens to them and we will see it , sometimes i think my job is big but looking at these guys in the field etc on tanks , flying planes etc,, not knowing what they are getting into , leaving family behind etc,, with limited pay, these guys make nothing compared to keywords that go for $50 a click on overture , most of there pay is about $350 a week and not just money but if you usually make a paycheck and now you get called up you get only partical pay and it costs money the wife making phone calls, extra day care expenses becuase there arent two of you anymore, it does add up boy does google update seem not that imporant to me, just a thought these people command respect, sheila rae

I fully agree with Brett in the other post. Politics should not enter into these forums, we surely will not all agree on anything.

sorry i was looking at it as a tech point with coverage and yes brett needs to makes calls i agree also, i didnt know the post was shut down, ie, i have been watching tv havent been online as much everything will work itself out as always and yes we still need ROI right!

It's an impossible topic to broach. We've tried coming at it every way possible. A thread will start out about tech issues, and within a short time it will turn into something else. This thread would turn into a rant about reporters by some members - (most likely - me)

I don't think the technology is all that great. I mean it's almost worthless. Pixelated, slow moving with many delays and almost no way to even see what's going on is not what I expect in 2003! An oil well fire looks like a street light and planes look like tanks. I would rather wait for some decent footage. It doesn't really matter though because you're not going to see anything spectacular anyway.
