I remember doing a search on web design and after checking perhaps two sites I tried WW and found the answer to what I was looking for.

The thing about it, this has been here over two years.

I was very impressed by the quality of posts here not to mention the replies. I said to my self how come after searchin the net for years I never found this one?

Well from thereon on rare occassions do I ever have to go searching elsewhere to find answers to my questions.

I think Brett is a genius and should be complimented for an outstanding job. I will put my money where my mouth is as soon as I'm able. On disability presently.

Look at the number of posts he has clocked.
Good night. Truly amazing.

This brings me to the question.

How did you first learn about this excellent resource?
Me, as I said I found it doing a search.

Secondly.
Have you passed on this link to anyone else?
I have.

How about you?

Search engine ages ago.

Link or mention of the site gets included in some presentations, newsletter articles sometimes. and given to those who might appreciate it - generally not clients but others who ask about SEO and Internet marketing in general. It's linked on a few sites.

I was doing a search for pictures from Northern Manitoba and pics of the north in general (call it homesickness), and one of the links pointed to a thread on this forum, about Alaska.

I was making my weekly perusal of Slashdot for anything worthy of reading. Found a comment burried under an interesting story that linked to a thread over here with the comment that this board had "real professionals" having serious discussion. Decided it was worth looking into - and it was :)

with google's help of course! :)

and for all the online discussions I have seen this is the busiest, most updated, intelligent (wow) crowd, most helpful, etc ...

which made me stick to this one. yeah!

I was just beginning to learn about SEO, and had found the Google Support Group (or whatever it is called). Not very useful, but someone (I would wager that it was ciml, but am not totally sure) referred to a thread here. Followed the thread and found the rest of the board.

I found this place on Google more than two years ago.
Searching for information on how to rank higher.

No surprise...... I now rank a lot higher and it saved this company from the dot-com meltdown.

Thanks Brett.
