|Request for radio interview|
Fame at last...
hehe, just got a mail requesting a radio interview based on an affiliate site I run...
Weird world, I'll do it of course but I'm not my best on a monday....
Anyone else get stuff like this?
I wish i did Nick,
It's just not going to happen to me unless i win the UK lottery, or i gain my CCIE with about 10 years of experience behind me, or do a Phd. in systems information engineering.
Other than that i hope your relatively sober when your live. lol
rotflmao - it ain't happening
I'm on my 5th can - reading about FDDI architecture, i can see me leaving it soon, i think after IEEE 802.3 i will be sleeping like a baby.
best advice I can give is be yourself.
Brain > Lips > Sound
Long sentences/strings work well on Radio, as no doubt the Host will be trying to interrupt you as you go along.
Try and NOT self promote, speak as an independent, too much self praise is NO good.
and if possible ask for the questions beforehand, most people will happily give you these, as they want you to know what you are talking about.
Nothing to worry about.
(Btw, my claim to fame was a 3 minute live interview on CNN breakfast news in front of 35 million viewers, the night before I thought I was going to die of a Heartattack)
35 million, can you really know, but fair play, thats talking to alot of people.
I would probably start self promoting and acting the fool, its in my nature and if it helped with other things non related, that would be great - open my mouth and shock and fear rolls followed by enthusiam and desire to know - great.
Good advice Shak, I'm a veteran salesman - I can do this ;) We'll see if they follow it up of course, they probably mailed a whole bunch of other sites too....

Am I getting a reputation here? ;);)
you gain a reputation, no chance! mmm!
lets look at the join date against the post ratio?
over 6 posts per day. no reputation eh!
oh! you meant the sober part, well as long as the unwanted noisey people don't turn up you should be OK
Probably one of their Viewing figure remarks.
However I remember it was the morning just after the Gore>Bush scandal on CNN breakfast with Becky Anderson at around 7am in November 2000.
My mum still has the VHS tucked away somewhere.
