that's interesting. earlier today a co-worker and I were noticing a variety of problems accessing sites, all sorts of sites, different locations. we tried from different isps and got very inconsistent results. this link showed us that during the time we were having all of the problems, a server in massachusetts went down completely, and the lost packets in north american traffic increased significantly. funky. not that we'd bothered to traceroute too much once we realized it wasn't our connections or servers.

I work for an ISP in the UK and often hear the network monkeys :) talking about that site.
