Oh yeah here's an even better one. I went to my buddy's workstation (same one), and took a screen shot of his desktop. I opened Paint and saved it as a BMP. Then, I set the desktop wallpaper to be that BMP. Then, I selected all his icons and moved them off the screen and got rid of the Start bar. It took him and the tech guy over an hour to figure out why none of his icons worked.

You can have loads of harmless fun with an innocent Mac user by stuffing strange little things in the Startup and/or Shutdown Items folders.

Hehe pmac... mahlon... the easiest way to get the icons back is to auto-arrange them. just rebooting won't do it.

We had a bloke that never did his work (that we needed)and used to play Solitaire all day long. We moved the shortcut so it opened up the anti smokers page on the web. He smoked. There was a good one that mimiced the C drive being wiped, watch em panic.
